I finally finished!! It took me about 15 hours over a 2 month time frame, but it is done.
The mermaid is "Death's Mistress" and it goes with the poem posted here [link] There are tons of mistakes, but I am still a bit proud of it since it is the first full color piece I have finished. I used little for reference; a couple magazine pics for facial features (that later got messed up once coloring started anyways) and some general tentacle pictures to get a feel for them.
